The agency representing actress Song Ji Hyo has strongly denied allegations that her father failed to repay debts, warning that legal action will be taken against individuals spreading false claims.
Nexus E&M revealed that they had received a threatening email containing accusations along with a mock advertisement banner stating:
“The parents of a celebrity known for their ferry business on television” accompanied by a list of questions.
The company’s legal representative said the act was clearly aimed at defaming the actress and disrupting the agency’s operations.
“The intention was to publicly display the banner in front of Nexus E&M in an attempt to damage Song Ji Hyo’s reputation and interfere with the company’s activities,” the representative stated.
Earlier, in an episode of Running Man aired in July 2023, Song Ji Hyo mentioned that her parents ran a ferry business in Tongyeong. —Boom!
