Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has revealed that her nasal septum was damaged and developed a hole due to past drug abuse.
She shared on TikTok that her substance abuse history had severely affected the tissues inside her nose. In the two-minute video, Paris demonstrated that when she breathes through her nose, it produces a loud whistling sound.
She also emphasized that drug abuse not only damages the nose but can have serious effects on overall physical health and the respiratory system.
According to the Los Angeles Times, experts from the Cleveland Clinic explained that the septum is the tissue separating the nostrils, and drug use can destroy this tissue to the point where a hole forms.
Paris urged young people to stay away from drugs, saying,
“Don’t do drugs, kids.” said Paris.
She added that she has no plans to undergo surgery to repair the deformity.
“I don’t want to get plastic surgery to fix it because I’ve been sober for almost six years. You have to take medication when you undergo major surgery,” she said. —Boom!
