Musical actor Kim Jun-young has issued a public apology four days after being embroiled in controversy over allegedly visiting an adult entertainment club.

His name became associated with the issue after he uploaded a photo of a receipt on social media, which included a woman’s name and a specific payment amount.

Kim Jun-young later came forward to clarify the situation, admitting full responsibility for his actions.
“I sincerely apologize for disappointing and hurting so many people because of my recent behavior. Regardless of whether it was illegal or not, my actions were inappropriate and reflected a lack of self-awareness. All of this is entirely my fault,” he said, as quoted by Allkpop.

Earlier, his agency HJ Culture denied all allegations, insisting that the actor was not involved in any illegal activities.

However, as the controversy escalated and calls for a boycott grew louder, the agency retracted its statement and announced the termination of Kim Jun-young’s contract.
