The child support claim filed by television host and actress Raja Azura Tengku Ahmad Tajudin against her ex-husband, Adzmin Osman, has been postponed to December 3 to allow time for a report on the substituted service process to be submitted to the court.

Raja Azura’s lawyer, Mohamad Amirul Hanizan, informed that the initial mention of the case had to be postponed after the respondent failed to cooperate in receiving the court notice.
“Yes, efforts were made to locate the respondent’s family members, and we informed the court that the notice delivery was unsuccessful,” he told reporters outside the Shah Alam Syariah Lower Court today.

According to BH Online, Mohamad Amirul further explained that if the physical service of notice to Adzmin continues to fail, they will proceed with substituted service methods such as posting notices, publishing in newspapers, or sending via WhatsApp and Telegram.
He added that if the respondent still refuses to cooperate, the court may allow the lawsuit to proceed against him.

On September 10, Raja Azura filed an execution of judgment application against her ex-husband, alleging that he failed to pay child support for the past 15 years.

The court has now fixed December 3 as the new date for the submission of the substituted service report by the plaintiff. —Boom!
