Singer and actress Linda Rafar revealed that her decision to leave the group ELITE stemmed from her disappointment over certain netizens’ comments advising her to focus more on religious practices.
Linda admitted that the remarks deeply affected her, causing her to overthink and even blame herself for the criticism she received.
“To be honest, I was really affected by the comments from people who didn’t like seeing me with ELITE. Some even said I’m too old and should stay home to focus on worship,” she told Boom!.
Linda added that she recently discussed the matter with her manager, Iman Tang, and the other ELITE members, all of whom disagreed with her decision to leave.
The Pesona Cinta actress, 47, said she realizes she cannot be selfish and must reconsider her choice.
For now, Linda has decided to take some time off to recover emotionally before making a final decision about her involvement with the group.
