Actress Uqasha Senrose has once again captured public attention, this time over claims that her husband, Kamal Adli, allegedly manipulated the date of their marriage certificate.
Uqasha revealed on Instagram that she discovered the issue only when filing for divorce. According to her, the marriage ceremony took place on November 5, 2021, but the certificate stated November 4, 2021.
Seeking clarity, Uqasha turned to religious scholars for advice on whether the marriage was valid.
“Allah is great, masya Allah, another issue arises. I was married and had my akad (solemnization) on November 5, 2021, at 9 a.m.
But the certificate states November 4, 2021, at 9:30 p.m. Allahuakhbar, is this marriage valid? Without the bride’s knowledge — is it valid? Were the Islamic requirements fulfilled?”

She added:
“All this time, I was deceived, and my father was manipulated into believing it was valid because there was a wali (guardian).
I seek help from ustaz and ustazah.”

The post has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some netizens asserting that the marriage remains valid under Islamic law if all the essential conditions were met.
