After nearly a decade of a romantic relationship, renowned pop singer, Katy Perry and Pirates of the Caribbean actor, Orlando Bloom have officially confirmed their separation.
Through an official statement from the couple’s representative to People, Katy and Orlando have decided to focus fully on their daughter, Daisy Dove, who is now four and a half years old.
“Due to the recent attention and speculation,
we confirm that Orlando and Katy have been reshaping their relationship for the past few months to focus on co-parenting,” the statement explained.
Their representative added that, although no longer together as a couple, both will continue to appear together in their family capacity.
The couple first met at a Golden Globes party in 2016 before entering a serious relationship and getting engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019. They welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, in August 2020.
Previously, their planned wedding in Japan in 2020 had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
Katy was also seen getting emotional on stage during her recent Lifetimes concert in Adelaide, Australia. – BOOM!
