Hollywood’s legendary couple, Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus, recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on June 14.
Despite being a famous celebrity, the couple’s celebration on social media was simple yet deeply meaningful.
Snoop, 53, posted a photo of them on the red carpet with a short caption of a blue heart emoji while tagging his wife’s name.
Shante, meanwhile, shared a collection of throwback photos from their teenage years, including an old picture from when they attended prom together in 1989.
The couple were high school sweethearts at Long Beach Polytechnic High School, California.
They tied the knot in June 1997 at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey, before briefly separating in 2004. However, they renewed their vows in 2008.
In an interview with PEOPLE last year, Snoop Dogg expressed his admiration for his wife, Shante Broadus.
According to him, Shante not only understands him completely but is also an amazing mother, an extraordinary grandmother, a wonderful wife, and his best friend in life.
Snoop also shared that his wife knows when to calm him down or drive him ‘crazy,’ something he deeply values throughout their marriage.
Now, they are not only parents to three children; Cordé, Cordell, and Cori, but have also become proud grandparents to their beloved grandchildren.
Snoop also has a son named Julian from a previous relationship. – BOOM!
